My name is Nicole Wilcoxen and I am THRILLED to again be the 8th grade teacher at St. Aloysius! I have taught Preschool, 4th Grade, 1 year of a 7/8 combo and this will be my 5th year as the 8th grade teacher! I absolutely LOVE St. Aloysius and can not imagine myself at any other school!
I am originally from San Diego, but now live in Long Beach with my Husband Jason. I love spending time with family and LOVE watching and playing all kinds of sports! Soccer has always been my passion . I started playing soccer at the age of 2 and played my entire life, finishing my soccer career playing 5 years at Long Beach State University. My other favorite sport is football!
I grew up knowing that I wanted to one day become a teacher. I am so blessed that I get to what I love every single day. I believe that every student is brilliant in his or her own way. I feel that it is my job as the student’s teacher to find those ways and help them to each become life long self directed learners.
